I waited 23 years to meet my best friend Echo, a whippet, but my love for animals - particularly dogs and horses - goes way back to my childhood. I spent a lot of my days taking care of my own horses and finding any excuse to spend time with family members’ dogs. I couldn’t have my own dog until I moved into my own home outside Portsmouth, Hampshire, but he was more than worth the long wait. 

Echo has opened up my world to so many wonderful dog-centered activities as we have done so many things together: showing, obedience, lure coursing, swimming… way more than I can list here. In fact, I’ve been showing my own dogs at championship dog shows, including Crufts, for 10 years now and have been a dog show judge for 5. 

I now have three whippets as Tee joined our family in 2018 and Zest in 2023. It’s not possible to imagine my life without my dogs - Zest especially wouldn’t ever let me, as he follows me absolutely everywhere! It’s safe to say that nowadays my life is completely filled with dogs, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. 

Echo, Tee and Zest have shown me the importance of capturing the moments you share with your dogs and freezing them in time. My photography aims to showcase the individuality of each and every dog, as well as the unique bond you share with them. Some of my most treasured images are those of me with my boys, so I want to provide you with your own special pieces that you can hang up and smile at each time you look at them. 

I’m proud of my journey to becoming a dog photographer and excited for what the future holds. My images first caught people’s attention on social media, and soon I began photographing dogs for clients across Hampshire, West Sussex, and Surrey. Now, I am a qualified Licentiate with the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP), with multiple awards from the UK’s leading photography organisations.
