Frequently Asked Questions:

For these shorter sessions, you can bring up to two dogs from the same household. If you have more than two dogs, I recommend booking two consecutive sessions to ensure each dog gets the time and attention they need.

Once you've booked your session, I'll be in touch with all the details, including directions and a checklist of what to bring. If you have any questions before booking, feel free to get in touch.

Absolutely! I always encourage owners and family members to take part, as these moments make for the most meaningful photographs.

Your viewing will take place approximately two weeks after your session, either at my home or via Zoom. You'll have the opportunity to see product samples at your session, and if you choose an in-person viewing, you can explore them in more detail then.

The appearance of the lavender changes with the light. At sunset, it takes on a pinkish hue if it’s sunny, while on cloudy days, it appears a deeper purple. You can see examples in the gallery of images from previous years below.
Rest assured, there will still be plenty of light for the final sessions, so there’s no need to worry about it being too dark.

Lavender sessions run on a fixed schedule due to the field hire, so there isn’t flexibility to extend the session if your dog needs extra time to settle. If your dog is particularly excitable or nervous, a full photography session may be a better fit, as it allows for a more relaxed pace. If you love vibrant flowers but need a little more flexibility, a heather session could be a great alternative. The most important thing is that you and your dog enjoy the experience.
